There are alot of parallels between sports and music. You gotta work out, eat right, keep your body healthy in able to perform and compete at the highest level. This is the same with practice, or in my case rehearsal. I learned when I was younger playing football and basketball, that how you practice is 9 times out of 10 how you’ll play. Yeah…we talkin bout practice. 
This is why I go 110% in rehearsal, because the show I bring to the stage has to be nothing less than that. I pride myself on pushing myself (and my team) to be and do better than what’s ‘expected’ of us. You hear it more work. You see it my show.
I’m not letting up.
That said, THANK YOU to everybody that came out to Brooklyn Bowl the other night. We made history.

Friday, July 30th, 2010This time last year, if I had told you we’d be celebrating release of my debut, 87 Dreams…you’dve probably told me to go have 88. The difference a year can make, when you nevermind the opinions of others and do what feels right to you. The difference a year can make, when you put your all into achieving your goals vs. trying to ‘look’ like you already did. The difference a year can make, when you stop talking and starting doing. Last night my 88th dream came true.
